Fly around, shoot things, don't get shot.
| Did you get shot? | Upgrade your ship and try again. |
| Did you manage to not get shot? | Upgrade your ship and keep going. |
| What's that? A boss? | Shoot it. |
| A power-up? | Now you can shoot more. |
| Can't do all the shooting yourself? | Hire extra ships to shoot for you. |
| Still getting shot? | Use your team as fodder. |
| Bored of shooting? | Blow things up. |
| Hotel? | BLAM! |
Please don't try to run the browser version of the game on mobile, it won't work properly. To play on mobile, see Download and Install instructions.
A word about the browser version; as well as occasionally crashing, the save file unfortunately does not carry through updates, so any progress will be lost whenever I update the game. Thankfully this is not the case with any of the downloads, and progress will be saved regardless of updates. Basically, treat the browser version as a trial before you commit to downloading.

Android:
Make sure the 'Install unknown apps' permission is granted for whichever browser you are using, this includes in-app browsers such as Facebook/Instagram/Messenger etc.
This setting will usually be found in either 'App Permissions' or 'Security'.
Windows (unless installed from itch.io app):
Once downloaded, right click the zip file to unzip in your desired location.
Find and run the 'Blam' application file in the unzipped folder.
